They are now looking for a ‘hands-on’ engineer who can utilise methodical approaches such as TRL’s and MCRL’s to drive projects to completion. This role will give the successful individual the breadth and depth to analyse and fix complex issues expediently during projects.

Delivering multiple current projects, the Research and Development Project Engineer will progress the company strategy and utilise the technology projects already in process to develop the current R&D area. The candidate will further develop the long term capital investment profile for the next 5 years continuing the ongoing investment trend, you will work with partners whether industry specialists or academic institutions to progress opportunities which will benefit the business.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of academic and practical experience with a capacity and hunger for learning. Having worked within a similar role and with experience of working in a similar heavy industrial environment you will be capable of working with various cutting edge technologies, including the ability to watch, review, analyse and research up and coming Blue Sky Technologies.

Those who hold a degree / HN qualification in Engineering, Production, Technology and / or Materials would be advantageous, however this is not essential.
