Front End Web Designer / Developer

Our Client is a respected Digital Marketing Agency, specialising in helping businesses to connect with their customers online.

The Role:

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a front end web developer/ designer to join their team.

You will be working closely with our content team to turn their visions into reality.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to show your creativity and be involved in designing cutting edge web content that can push their clients marketing efforts forward in a creative way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Brainstorming ideas with content team ensuring technology can keep up with our ideas

•Wire framing design concepts where necessary

•Working with the graphic designer to turn design concepts in to fully functioning responsive web content

On top of this you will need to be able to communicate effectively with our internal teams and client's technical teams where required.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

•A good working knowledge of HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript

•An Understanding of PHP and MYSQL

•Show a willingness to learn, research and use initiative

•Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results

•Excellent time management skills

•Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise

•Work as a team player whilst being able to work on set individual performance goals and KPIs

•Excellent written and verbal communication and literacy skills

•Perfect command of the English language

•Proactive approach to workload and new ideas

Beneficial Skills:

•Previous experience working on digital content

•Ability to work with and integrate API's

•Working knowledge of WordPress and backend systems
