We are now recruiting for a No2 Race Technician to join our dynamic team, in this role you will carry out race car build, on event technician support and repair work efficiently and competently. Completing all work to Prodrive/AMR standards and achieve a high quality of workmanship at all times, at base, test and on event. You will have had previous race experience and ideally have fabrication or composites trimming capability.
Role and Experience:
* To carry out work competently and within the times laid down by the Chief Mechanic.
* To carry out race duties e.g. fuelling
* At base: involved in the build of race cars to the correct specification.
* On event: preparation of the race car and support as required.
* To ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled
* Hands on experience and good all round knowledge
* Deadlines driven
* Positive attitude and the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems
* Endeavour to find new ways of doing things and learn from past experiences
The successful candidate will have experience in high level motorsport Formula 1, Sportscar or similar. Flexibility in hours and approach is essential, along with a can do attitude.
