We are working with a Top 5 leading Infrastructure contractor who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor within their Utilities & Civils team based of out the office in the Bridgewater
Client Details
Our client is one of the UK's top 5 infrastructure contractors, with revenue of over several Billion pounds and growing teams in a variety of market sectors including Civil Engineering, Rail, Build, Utilities and FM
Description
The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor will involve:
*Monitor contract costs against agreed budgets - company financial reporting.
*Develop and monitor the use of cost and financial reporting systems.
*Identify potential risks and evaluate options for control.
*Guide and advise staff on contractual issues
*Strong NEC contract knowledge
*Guide and develop site staff, identifying training where necessary
*Monitor contract compliance against statutory requirements.
*Oversee the procedures for certification for contract payments to sub-contractors
Profile
For the Senior Quantity Surveyor role we are looking for:
- Experience of Commercial works in the Civil Engineering/Utilities industry
- HND or higher in a relevant commercial/quantity surveying discipline
