Senior Service Technician (Supervisor / Team Leader)

A vital part of our mission to satisfy customers worldwide is our network of state-of-the-art, high tech' automated fulfillment centres. These sites are crammed full with SCADA and PLC controlled equipment from conveyors, automated cranes and sortation machinery, to robotic pick-and-place machinery and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems that take the first steps to getting your delivery to your front door. Sounds cool, right?
Time moves fast and we expect our Team Leaders to adapt with it - as a Senior Service Technician you would lead a team of up to 8 professional engineers across a shift in a hands-on role where clear, concise and effective communication is key in a pressurised environment. Your remit is clear - lead your shift by example, with maximum efficiency, the highest standards of quality and handover a tight ship.
Our sites are operational 24/7, 365 days a year to serve our customer obsession. As such, in this role you will work a 12 hour shift pattern including both days, nights and weekends. To be considered for the role you must have:
* ONC, OND, HNC,HND, DEGREE and/or Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship (qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
* A strong background of leadership, leading by example, and effective communication in a high pressure, fully automated industrial environment.
* The determination, and motivation to excel and enable others to succeed
* Be personable and able to communicate at all levels.
