37.5 hrs per week
Our client's vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. As a homelessness charity and housing association's clients are at the heart of what do. The company provide a bed and support to more than 2,500 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and work to end homelessness and rebuild lives.
This exciting new post has been created to develop new and innovative ways of working with and supporting AWP teams to develop and implement peer mentoring, which enables service users to have access to excellent peer support; especially at times of transition. As the Mentoring Coordinator, you will be based within Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust (AWP). You will also be supported in your role by Wellbeing manager and AWP's participation Lead based in Bath.
To succeed, you should have knowledge, skills and an understanding of mentoring and supporting people with their mental health. You will also have good communication and influencing skills, the ability to work independently and manage your time and workload effectively. Other requirements include the ability to promote and encourage client participation and involvement and the ability to develop evaluation tools and produce reports.
