The Company
Our client is a new type of agency, with a specialism in luxury automotive brands. They are in the business of brand communications, and operating as a global agency they have now moved to contemporary new offices in Birmingham city centre. Birmingham has so much to offer for living, leisure, the arts, culture and heritage. There has been a tremendous amount of development going on over the past decade and Birmingham has now been named one of the top 10 cities in the world by Rough Guide. However, if the city isn't appealing the office is an easy commute from many beautiful villages and suburbs such as Solihull and the popular towns of Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and Leamington Spa.
The Role
Our client is looking for a talented Retoucher to work solely on premium brand automotive imagery, ranging from the creation of new assets from raw files, to the manipulating and retouching of existing images to include the extending of backgrounds and full image builds with colour grading. You will liaise with the Art Directors, Photographers and Production Team.
The Candidate
If you are at middleweight to senior level, you will have significant experience as a high-end commercial Retoucher with top agencies or production house, servicing luxury brands.
If you are early in your career you will be able to demonstrate good technical skills in retouching, ideally with automotive brands.
Your work will be presented as before and after images in a retouching portfolio. Whatever your level in the industry, you should be a determined and passionate self-starter and be able to offer the following:
A meticulous eye-for-detail
Fully conversant in industry standard software Adobe Photoshop
Experience with Capture One and Adobe Bridge software (although not essential)
Work independently from creative briefs to deliver high-end retouched images for use across all media platforms
Good understanding of all colour management
Strong communication skills
