As a Linux System Administrator with an exceptionally fast growing technology company you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technology in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the day to day maintenance of the Company's globally distributed server infrastructure (Physical & Cloud-based).
  • Set up and administration of monitoring tools.
  • Handling change management requests / code deployments.
  • Develop strategies to maintain and enhance platform availability and security posture.
  • Analysing systems and identifying potential issues in order to achieve maximum availability, performance and efficiency.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies.

You will need to have:

  • Experience of Linux.
  • A good understanding of the LAMP
  • Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash / Python / Ruby).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Nagios, Puppet, NodeJS, Ansible or Jenkins would be advantageous but not crucial.
  • A disciplined working practice
