Overview 

Established in 1998, our client is an industry-leading design and digital marketing company with a full service capability. The business operates its own in-house print and wide format manufacturing facilities at our base near Pontefract, West Yorkshire. They are the largest design studio in the North of England, specialising in the Restaurant, Bar, Nightclub and Drinks industries among others. Following the business’s continued success and growth they are looking for a talented Artworker to join their large design team. Their office is located in South Kirkby, near Pontefract, West Yorkshire and is easily commutable from Leeds, Doncaster, Sheffield, Wakefield and Barnsley.

The Position 

Your role will be predominantly working in the School Education department, and will involve undertaking tasks such as the artworking of school exercise books, processing amends to existing artwork and producing print or web ready files. 

Due to the nature of the business and of the working environment, you must be adept at working under pressure and comfortable with meeting tight deadlines.

Key Skills / Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Diverse portfolio which demonstrates proficiency in the artworking of flyers, brochures, presentations & posters
  • 2+ years’ experience within the creative industry, ideally in an artworker role
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • A strong desire to learn and progress within the sector
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work within Brand Guidelines
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to produce press-ready artwork
  • Being able to take projects from initial brief to supply of final files
  • Excellent grasp of English, spelling & grammar
  • Effectively roll-out existing design styles across all media formats
