Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing - Housing Association - Bedford - GBP30,000 - GBP35,000
My client is an innovative and well established housing association operating in the Home Counties between Oxford and Cambridge. They are looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to come in and work as a part of the commercial team supporting the maintenance services throughout the housing portfolio. This client owns over 17,000 homes throughout the region and aims to be the best housing association based on four key factors: Efficiency, Sustainability, Continual Improvement and Tenants Trust. This is also manifested in the way the staff are treated, with a culture of providing strong support and training, the career progression on offer is unparalleled in similar organisations.
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor you will be working closely with senior members of the commercial team, this will allow you to learn all the functions a Quantity Surveyor must carry out from inception of a contract through to completion in a hands on and supported environment. As well as this you will be responsible for your own workload, taking on all duties you are capable of and being supported in others where necessary.
The client is looking for you to have a RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or similar and at least six months experience in a maintenance environment. For this you will receiver GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 dependent on experience as well as a tailored benefits package and unrivalled opportunities for learning and career progression.
