Working hours: Permanent, full-time.



We are very excited to be working on behalf of a new indoor climbing concept, combined with soft play and a high quality cafe in Whiteley. Our client describes the concept as 'theme park meets climbing wall' and has proved hugely popular at both its sites in Birmingham and Whiteley with guests and families.



Our client has established itself as the operator of choice for retail and leisure park landlords and has many potential sites across the UK planned for the future - so come and join them on their journey!



This exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding candidate who is looking to take their strong experience to new heights as a Centre Manager. You will lead and manage the multi-faceted flagship centre in Whiteley.



Key duties as Centre Manager to include:
  • Overall responsibility for a team of circa 30 people, comprising both permanent and casual workers;
  • Designing, promoting and instigating activities to maximise revenue;
  • Marketing and promoting the centre to increase footfall and spend;
  • The maintenance of outstanding levels of customer service and care;
  • Overall responsibility for the recruitment, training and rota system for staff;
  • Overall responsibility for security / health and safety and maintenance on site;
  • Full P&L responsibility for the site;
  • Daily, weekly, monthly Reporting to the Company as required;
  • Attendance at Management/-Finance/Marketing/HR meetings when required.


We are looking for a natural leader who comes from a background in retail, operations, hospitality, educational activity, health club, leisure or overseas seasonal management. This is a role that requires passion, dedication and creativity as well as the operational, financial and mentoring skills required to run a busy facility.



Skills required:
  • Supervisory, interpersonal, communication, customer service, commercial, financial and IT.
