Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturer - Continental Shift

My Client is one of the UK's leading specialist food manufacturers. The company has been established for over a 140 years and still remains privately owned. The company has built a reputation over the years based on high quality products offering fantastic build quality and value, therefore due to further expansion, they have then need for another mechanical engineer to join their team.
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical manufacturing engineering and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias, though you will have some electrical knowledge. Also able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work such as welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on a number of mechanical areas within a fast moving machinery environment. There is a huge amount of training on offer, usually around electrical skills wise, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
