The Role & Person
You will have full ownership of the projects you run from concept through to completion for a variety of rotating equipment used in the oil & gas and subsea industries.
You will be responsible for every step in a project. Initially, you will create a project plan (agreeing timescales ect), managing the design process acting as the glue between engineering departments and customer, supporting the embodiment through to production, installation, commissioning and cash collection. The individual should be a self-motivated engineer who likes working part of a team on both small and large value projects.
Communication plays a big part in this role, so having the ability to communicate at all levels is important. You will be from a mechanical background and ideally have a project management qualification or certificate (i.e. Prince 2). If you have experience in rotating equipment or special purpose machinery this will help, although not essential.
