Job Title: Electrician
Location: Somerset
Rate Guide: ??19.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 6 weeks +
Introduction:
Our client is one of the world's foremost support services, construction and engineering companies, operating in the public and private sectors in the UK and internationally. The operate as Principal Contractor for the design and build of water and wastewater projects throughout the UK and they currently require two Electricians to work on their Wessex Water AMP6 framework.
Key Responsibilities;
* Assisting planning the works with Electrical Supervisor
* Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics in relation to the installation of the project.
* Working to company Health & Safety procedures
* Attending Toolbox Talks, Risk Assessments and Method Statements briefings
* Assisting in the production of electrical installation and testing reports
* Installation of electrical equipment and plant in accordance with BS7671
* Inspections and Testing of electrical equipment and plant in accordance with BS7671
* Production of electrical test documentation in accordance with BS7671
* Signing of electrical completion certificates as required in accordance with BS7671
* Assisting Commissioning Engineers for Loop Testing and Pre-Commissioning Checks
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Health & Safety Awareness Course / 2 Day CITB Site Safety Certificate
* Safety Passport
* 16th / 17th Edition Certified
* CSCS Card
* Water Hygiene card (EUSR) - Essential
* Previous industrial engineering experience ideally from the water industry
