Sales Development Assistant

Our client who is based in Clevedon is looking for a pro active person, who is confident making outbound calls, as well as inbound, (not cold calling), but lead generation and development. Job Description Daily handling of sales enquiries including quotingOrder taking and processing of ordersFollow up of quotes and negotiating to win ordersOutbound calling to new and existing customers to generate business (You will be expected to make a minimum of 5 calls daily to either new or existing contacts and if we are having a quiet day this should be more). This will be part of a wider marketing plan for the sales team that will include small marketing projects reporting and feedback on all sales activities.General sales support to existing members of staff ranging from appointment making to quote follow upsMaintaining and updating customer database (CRM). All information regarding a customer is to be recorded, it is essential that this is done to provide a broad view of all our contactsAttending trade showsGeneral office administration as required Sales experience and industrial experience preferred, but will give training for the right person.
