This is a brand new position with a world renowned and pioneering manufacturing business. They are now looking for a Group Health & Safety Manager to join their team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.

Group Health & Safety Manager - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
This is a brand new role for the company due to progressive growth within the group.

- You will set the Health & Safety strategy and direction for the group
- You will unify and promote a positive health and safety culture across 11 sites
- You will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining and up-dating all health and safety policies and procedures
- Be pro-active in resolving any HSE issues
- Provide HSE training and inductions
- Liaise with the local authorities with regards to any HSE issues on site
- Undertake accident and investigations
- Look at Environmental improvements such as waste, noise and pollution control etc.

Group Health & Safety Manager - job requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Group Health & Safety Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

- You will hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or Equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
- You will also be a chartered member of IOSH or equivalent (or working towards)
- Experience of managing the Health & Safety of multiple sites
- Experience of Behaviour Safety and promoting a positive Health and Safety Culture
- Hold a recognised Environmental Qualification such as AIEMA or NEBOSH
- It is also essential that you have a pro-active approach to health and safety
