The role will be working as part of a team, whose principal aim will be to ensure that the project is built in line with the agreed design and that the design information is correct and detailed enough to meet the predetermined deadlines and budgets.

As a QS you will have experience of managing financial information, procurement and subcontractors combining both site and office based working You will also need some construction knowledge to enable you to manage the delivery of the project for the client, including managing specialist trade subcontractors. An understanding and experience of estimating projects would also be an advantage.

The projects are generally small value, ranging from GBP10k-150k occasionally reaching GBP500k plus. Typically they include, office fitout, extensions, schools, maintenance projects, in and around Kent, London and the SE.

You will need to be ambitious, self-starting, trustworthy, accountable and happy to get stuck in, part of a small but growing business. You should be confident in your abilities and keen to prove yourself by handling more responsibility than you probably have at present. You should be able to work under pressure but provide a quality end product.

Reporting to the Project Director, the role will be responsible for:

- Producing and pricing schedules of work

Individual bonuses for successful delivery are one of the benefits my client is offering.
