This company is part of a well-established manufacturing business which consists of 43 companies within the group, based across 25 locations and employing 1100 people UK wide. This business unit specialises in stainless steel modular handrail fittings and focuses on developing sales of this specialist product.
Salary: GBP24-29k, plus car / car allowance, laptop, commission scheme, pension
The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an ambitious, enthusiastic Business Development Executive to cover the whole of the UK to help maintain and develop a strong portfolio of customers; building long term mutually beneficial relationships.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of new customers and generating new business leads by face to face visits, targeted phone calls and other marketing strategies. You will also be required to manage the database of live accounts and develop any missing revenue from these, ensuring agreed sales targets and KPI's are continuously met.
The successful candidate will have previous B2B field sales experience within a demanding sales environment and have a proven record of building accounts and delivering results, ideally with a technical background. We are looking for a strong team player who is highly enthusiastic, committed and looking to take their career to the next level. Experience of the architectural / steel industry would be an advantage however this is not essential.
Location: based in Bradford, travelling throughout the UK and some overnight stays will be required. A full UK driving license is essential.
