Our client is a large, and growing, specialist land-based College, with centres throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Tees Valley.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Turf Technician to join them where you will maintain all turf areas across the campus to a high standard. Preparing areas and facilities for college calendar events, sporting fixtures and large national standard events you will assist with maintenance duties on the grounds.

The role also involves developing an annual maintenance plan for all college sports facilities which includes identifying improvements, alterations and cost savings where necessary.

Our client is looking for someone who has an NVQ Level 2 in Sports turf or equivalent. With relevant experience within the Sports turf Industry, you will have additional qualifications relating to industry machinery and engineering, and will be a team player.

With good communication and customer care skills, you will be able to problem solve and will have strong self-motivation to work alone as well as part of a team.
