If you are wanting a career in social care that is not only rewarding but makes a real difference to someone's life, we would be interested in hearing from you.

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity to work for a care provider who offers high quality services to the people we support. You will be key in delivering care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, physical, mental health and complex needs. Promoting choice and sharing skills with practical activities.

If so, we are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to join us and who has a passion to meet the needs of people who are individuals living in a 24 hour supporting living plus environment.

As we are all different, your role as a Senior Support Worker will be varied - what you do and how you do it will depend on the needs of the individuals you are supporting. You will have the opportunity to get involved in the leadership of the service, helping to organise rotas, maintain records and supervise colleagues.

To be a great Senior Support Worker, you will need to have some previous experience in social care. You will know that you need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect. You need to be reliable because people are depending on you. Work flexibly including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You also need to be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.

Promoting leisure time, socialisation and access to the local community. Your willingness to learn and develop will be a requirement in this role.

You will be provided with a comprehensive training package during your induction to meet service standards, with further training promotion as you move through your career.
