Voids & Maintenance Operative
Bury, covering Greater Manchester & Cheshire
Salary: £20,500 per annum following a successful 6-month probationary period
Hours: 37.5 per week
A leading social housing provider currently has an exciting opportunity for a Voids & Maintenance Operative based in Bury covering Greater Manchester & Cheshire.
Working within the Asset Management department, the purpose of this role is to carry out an efficient and "quick turnaround" void programme to carry out minor repairs and decorations to void properties and to carry out other repairs where required to properties owned by the organisation.
Candidate Requirements:
The key knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this Voids & Maintenance Operative role are:
- At least 2 years' experience within a housing maintenance capacity, or ex-tradesman.
- Experience of working with contractors and repairs
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation
- Flexible, approachable, positive and enthusiastic
You will also require a full, clean driving licence.
