Our client currently has an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small, but busy finance team. You???ll have responsibility for ensuring suppliers are paid correctly and on time through registering and processing purchase invoices. Due to the high volume of invoices, you will need to be well organised with a high level of accuracy and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities: -
??? Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and in accordance with their terms
??? Obtain the necessary authorisation for invoices and expenses
??? Reconciliation of supplier accounts
??? Deal with purchase ledger and expenses enquiries
??? Prepare monthly BACS payment runs
??? Process credit card transactions, expenses and timesheets
??? Review disputed invoices and resolving issues
??? Develop existing filing processes and assist with departmental filing and archiving
??? Stationery stock control & ordering
??? Petty cash management

The ideal candidate should have: -
??? Experience in a Purchase Ledger role
??? Experience of working in a busy finance department
??? MS office knowledge & experience
??? The ability to prioritise your workload and manage time effectively
??? Excellent communication skills as you are required to communicate across all levels of the business as well as with suppliers
