KS2 Teaching Assistant

£50 -£80 per day

I am currently working with a school who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time teaching assistant to work in a Year 3 class to start late February. As a responsible member of the school community, you will work to implement and uphold the school's core values and will aim to have a positive impact on each child's education.

To be suitable for this role, you will need the following:
- Relevant qualifications;
- Excellent organisation skills;;
- Strong behaviour management;

-Knowledge of the National Curriculum.

- Previous experience of working with special needs

- Experience of group work and 1:1 interventions
- The ability to build relationships and communicate well with all pupils, parents/carers and other professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Working with the class teaching to plan and adapt lessons;

- Take part in small group work, delivering the Curriculum confidently;

- 1:1 intervention work which will also involve working with SEN children

- Mark some children's work daily;

- Be extremely organised and dedicated to driving and achieving pupil development;

- Managing behaviour in the classroom and around the school.
