Are you an experienced audio visual, electrical installer used to working to high quality specifications to tight time schedules for blue chip companies?

We are looking for a professional installation coordinator with strong organisational skills who can work as part of a project delivery team and manage external contractors. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge, rapidly expanding technology company who are revolutionising the retail experience.

Hardware supply is only one element: managing a digital signage deployment can be a complex process. Our professional site installation, content creation and distribution, service and support functions enable Scion Interactive to provide a truly “end to end” service, reducing the need for customers to invest in “in house” resource.

Role Profile:

To co-ordinate installations of digital hardware at sites throughout the UK from our office near Swindon, as part of our project delivery team and ensure high quality, cost effective sub-contractors are appointed, trained, briefed and deliver to our exacting standards. 

Accountabilities:

This role co-ordinates the installation of digital hardware, including video walls, point of sale display panels, interactive touch tables and sales consultation screens at retail clients’ sites, generally working through carefully selected sub-contractors but on occasion attending site personally. The role will work as part of the professional project delivery team, ensuring the installation team both internal and external have all the relevant information to install to the highest standards. 

Audio Visual Installation Coordinator Education & Skills Required:

+ 5+ years’ experience in planning and executing AV installations, including video walls, preferably accredited with an industry recognised qualification.
+ Shop-fitting experience – creating false walls, professional quality finishes
+ Ideally possess recognised electrical qualifications, or else substantial experience in rewiring work
+ Experienced in managing outsourced contractors
+ Able to work under pressure to resolve issues and provide practical solutions
+ Positive attitude, interest and understanding of the technology
+ Meticulous attention to detail and works to a high standard of professionalism
+ Works independently and methodically and uses initiative to solve problems, but can equally work within a process as part of a team
+ Good personal organisation and ability to work to deadlines
+ Able to prioritise work among competing tasks with changing priorities
+ Proven customer service experience with well-developed communication skills and good, professional customer service manner.

Remuneration package:

+ Hours of work: 08:30 to 17:00 (with 1 unpaid hour for lunch), Monday - Friday
+ Salary: circa £28,000 per annum
+ Discretionary bonus based on company performance
+ Generous Company pension (pending introduction of Auto Enrolment)
+ 28 days’ holiday (including public holidays), with an additional day for each year of service for up to 5 years
+ Life Insurance plan
