We are currently looking for Senior Support workers who can work 37 hours per week on a permanent basis with a nationwide charity who support adults with autism in Burnham on Sea, Somerset.

Responsibilities for this role:

* To be involved in supporting service users with their physical care and personal hygiene needs, ensuring that their independence is preserved and developed as far as possible.
* To escort and assist service users, as required, in and around the service.
* To be able to report and record information accurately
* To provide the highest standard of support to service users with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, supporting Service Users in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes in line with their person-centered plans
* ?? To receive and provide effective supervision to ensure the smooth running of the team.

Essential requirements include:

* To effectively listen to colleagues handovers and be able to retain information around service users requirements
* To be a driver
* To be able to commit to a shift pattern
* To be willing to partake in daily activities like arts and crafts, gardening and trips to the local community
* Ability to shift lead
* IT experience is required
* 2 years experience of working in a caring environment
