Sample Collecting Officer / Phlebotomist

Location: Central London

Salary: The hourly rate starts at £14.00 per hour increasing to £21.00 for out of hours and weekends + 0.45 per mile

Type of Contract: Zero Contract Hours

The company are seeking an experienced and professionally qualified phlebotomist who can undertake the role as a Sample Collecting Officer within Central London. This key role requires candidates to attend customer locations to carry out collection of blood samples in non-clinical setting, hair drug testing, oral fluid DNA and transdermal alcohol testing (SCRAM).

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:

  • Experienced and professionally qualified phlebotomist
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Methodical in your approach to work
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Diplomatic and reliable
  • Professional appearance
  • Must have own mobile phone and email
  • Must have full driving license and use of a car
  • Flexibility to undertake assignments and travel to collection locations at short notice

Full training to conduct specimen collections following the Company collection procedures and on-going support will be provided for all aspects of the role.

Shift patterns:

Required to participate in pre-booked collections mainly Monday to Friday and during office hours, however there may be some work that takes place outside of these timess
