ConQuest have an excellent opportunity for a Software Sales / Product Demonstrator to join our team in Horwich, Greater Manchester to promote and demonstrate our software to new and existing customers.

Job Title: Software Sales / Product Demonstrator

Location: Horwich + UK wide travel (inc overnight stays)

Software Sales / Product Demonstrator - The Role

Whilst there is an element of sales your main focus will be to become an expert of our software and the wider estimating process. This will enable you to take a consultative approach in all your dealings with industry professionals. We believe in demonstrating the software properly, knowing the industry and being straight with people. You will not be working in a high pressure, target driven environment.

The role is very rewarding because people are genuinely interested and impressed by what we have to show and talk to them about. They see that the software will help them in their daily lives.

Exhaustive industry and product training will be given and constantly updated. This will involve in house training courses, one to one training with our existing demonstrators, hands on field experience and external further education where appropriate.

After your initial training you will be spending more time out in the field visiting construction companies all over the U.K. and Ireland.  This will include regular overnight stays. When not in the field you will be based in our offices in Horwich carrying out your other duties.

Software Sales / Product Demonstrator - Duties to include

- Becoming an expert in all aspects of our software and the wider estimating process

- Carrying out 2-3 hour software demonstrations around the UK and Ireland to industry professionals in medium sized to very large construction companies

- Attending User Events and Exhibitions around the UK & Ireland

- Carrying out presentations via the internet

- Researching companies and contacts within the industry

- Booking Demonstrations over the Telephone

- Following up leads and quotes

- Networking with and familiarising yourself with other suppliers in the industry

- Providing software support over the telephone

- Testing new versions of software

Software Sales / Product Demonstrator - About The Person

- Experience of Learning & demonstrating complicated products or software

- Prior experience booking business appointments over the telephone

- Knowledge of using CRM and/or other internal systems

- Ideally, you will also have knowledge of ConQuest software and have other estimating/surveying/construction industry experience, although this is not essential

- You will be a confident, focused, interesting person with great communication skills

- You will be able to work well in a small team, communicating with colleagues at all levels making a positive contribution to our relaxed but hard working office environment

- You will have an excellent command of the English language, reasonable computer skills
