Job Title: Product Trainer – Estimating & Surveying Software

Location: Horwich + some travel

As the leading supplier of Estimating & Surveying software in the UK we are looking for a product trainer to join our team. Working with customers you will be responsible for the delivery and co- ordination for all product based training. You will work closely with the Senior Management team to develop new courses and give product feedback for future development.  The role will be primarily located at our head office in Horwich, Bolton but there may be a need to travel on occasions.

Product Trainer - Duties Include

- Becoming an expert in all aspects of our software

- To design bespoke training material required for the business, and to deliver material to bridge knowledge gaps and/or teach proficiency within systems and applications

- Taking ownership of a range of training courses focusing on the company’s full product range constantly improving and developing course content

- Development and production of Help videos

- Assist customers with queries in relation to industry practices when applying to the products available. This may require in some instances, a site visit to the client site for consultation on the various modules within the application

Product Trainer - Skills and Experience

- You will have estimating or quantity surveying experience or experience in teaching construction in further education

- You will have strong communication skills and be able to engage with groups of up to eight delegates with confidence, personality and professionalism

- Full UK driving licence

- Willingness and flexibility to travel when necessary

- Real enthusiasm for working with a wide variety of people

- Calm and patient under pressure

- Experience with ConQuest or other estimating software is desirable but not essential as comprehensive product training will be given by our existing trainers and other team members

The successful candidate will be proactive in maintaining and growing a strong technical awareness along with a solid commercial knowledge, enabling them to consult and deliver appropriate solutions to our customers whilst building good customer relations as you go.
