Our client is an injection moulding company based in Cannock. They are currently seeking a Group Human Resources & Development Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone who is willing to travel between more than their two current sites (Cannock or Worcester) as they expand the group.

As their employee numbers have recently exceeded the 80 mark, they feel it???s time to hire someone to lead, develop and improve their human resources activities.

What does that mean?

Well, they???re looking for someone who not only manages the administrative side of personnel (searching, hiring, firing, contracts, manuals, policies etc ??? liaising with the support team at the EEF) but also the development side (identifying development needs, organising training, instilling best practice across their growing number of sites etc). They want someone who has some experience under their belt, in terms of what works and what doesn???t.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a spark and passion that drives originality in thinking; someone who can sell new ideas with enthusiasm. They don???t want to be like everyone else; they don???t want to think like everyone else but they do want someone who knows what leading lights in this field are saying, teaching and how they???re challenging modern companies to achieve more through the development of their people.

Think more Silicon Valley than Midlands manufacturer. Think flexibility too ??? they're not stuck to the idea of a 9-5, five days a week. If you have other things that keep you busy or that you want to do outside of traditional work, then talk to their Group MD about how you???d like to fit them into your life as well as give them what they're looking for.

They don???t hire for money (but they pay well); they hire people who want to work for them, whatever the money.
