Job Title: Security Supervisor

Location: West End / City (collect vehicle from head office based in North London)

Salary: £9.40 per hour

Average Weekly Hours: 48

Shifts: Monday to Friday 19.00 - 07.00 Weekends 07.00 - 19.00 & 19.00 - 07.00

The company operates within the security guarding/mobile patrol industry and run an extremely busy control room, managing the allocation of guards and liaising with the company's clients to ensure the service runs smoothly. You will work both a day and night shift pattern managing staff and dealing with client request and issues at their sites.

As the Controller it is your responsibility to liaise with their security personnel and clients you will possess excellent verbal and written skills. You must have good working knowledge of the Logosoft roster management system and should have at least two years supervisory experience of rostering and managing staff and have the ability to prioritise tasks. You must have experience of collating reports and managing issues as they arise whilst escalating incidents where necessary.

As the mobile you will be part of the company's 24 hour response team you will support the delivery of security services, key holding, alarm and emergency response services to various company assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive calls from clients, alarm receiving centres and officers
• Manage holidays, sickness absences, and days off
• Log all incidents in the DOB and then liaise with clients and management
• Working with Logosoft to book on and manage rosters
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Work as part of a team with the mobile officer to provide a quality service
• Ability to work days or nights

Mobile:

• Driving a company vehicle to provide supervision of our night officers and preventative supervision to a number of customers
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Patrols may be internal or external
• Respond to alarm activations
• Respond to intrusion detection
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Work as part of a team with the controller to provide a quality service
• Ability to work days or nights

Person Specification:

• Holds a current valid SIA licence (Security/Door Supervision)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Excellent command of English - Both oral and written
• Ability to work on their own initiative
• Flexibility according to operational needs
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Have a 5 year verifiable work history

The Candidate:

• The role is mainly nights with some day time working weekends and bank holidays.
• The company is looking for a responsible individual who prides themselves on effectively carrying out operational procedures, best practice both internally and when dealing with customers and improvement of client services.
• The successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence be able to drive a manual car.
• You must be flexible and be able to work hours as required for the business, which may include days, nights and weekends.
