Software Tester – Automated System Test Analyst – ISEB / ISQTB (AWDO-C3003)

ISEB or ISQTB qualified Software Tester / Automated System Test Analyst that has experience in developing and executing functional and non-functional test cases and experience using automation tools is required by a well-established Company based in Canary Wharf, London.

SALARY: up to £32,100 per annum pro rata       

TYPE: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an ISEB or ISQTB qualified Software Tester / Automated System Test Analyst that has experience in developing and executing functional and non-functional test cases and experience using automation tools.

Working as the Software Tester / Automated System Test Analyst you will play a pivotal role within the testing process, which will involve developing functional and non-functional test cases from requirements, execute, record and document results.

Your responsibilities as the Software Tester / Automated System Test Analyst will also involve liaising closely with Developers and key Business Users to investigate root causes of defects.

As the Software Tester / Automated System Test Analyst you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to persuade and influence users in visualising new systems and enhancements to existing systems. You will be comfortable working in a high pressure and fast moving environment. Your excellent verbal and written communications skills will mean that you are confident in explaining concepts and processes to all levels of users.  Whilst experience in mobile applications projects would be desirable it is not essential.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You will have the following Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

• Microsoft Team Foundation Server

• ISEB / ISQTB certification

• Experience of testing automation tools, e.g. QTP

• Web-based systems

• SQL 2012 or similar database

• Excel 2013 or above

• Bug tracking system

• Experience of working within a formal development methodology

• Financial systems experience useful
