Our client is a leading Strategic Marketing and Media Sales Agency working with a number of Global Retailers and FMCG Suppliers and Manufacturers based in Leeds City Centre. Their great work has enabled them to grow year on year and they have exciting plans for 2017 and now need an enthusiastic person to join their great team.
The Role
This role is a pivotal role within the team and you will be liaising on projects with the management, Sales & New Business teams. You will be supporting the Senior Client Service Exec, in the day to day delivery of all store level activation activity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Client Service Manager and Senior Client Service Executive to deliver the activation requirements of all store level activity for our major client and any new business projects. This will be delivered through a ‘hands on’ approach with the Client Service & Sales team to provide support, guidance and development on a daily basis within the remit of store level activation including planning, logging, tracking and evaluating.
• Maintaining all sales databases – Mainly Excel based.
• Engage and are pro active in building relationships with all staff, existing & new business clients.
• Become an expert in your field through keeping abreast of retail industry, category and supplier research
The Person
You will ideally have a business related degree, although this is not essential, and you will have some previous experience in a marketing role.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• PC skills using Windows software – Especially good Excel skills
• Must have an understanding of marketing, along with a creative flair, and an eye for detail
• Ability to direct and control a multitude of tasks, processes and priorities to achieve all agreed objectives and deadlines
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills together with a strong customer focused approach
