The Campaigns and projects manager – Russia, CIS and Eastern European markets is responsible for creating and developing marketing campaigns and advertising projects (online and offline) for each of the relevant markets to achieve sales targets within their relevant region. The role will be tasked with creating a project plan for each managed country for all marketing and sales channels. The role works with internal sales teams and external suppliers to enhance brand visibility and generate high quality leads with high sales conversion potential.

Description

The main responsibilities and function for the role include:

  • liaising with senior management to develop list of products to be promoted in each region, creating an advertising strategy aligned with financial targets;
  • defining target groups, carrying out surveys and analysing customer profile and reaction to different products and promotional channels;
  • creating detailed plans on how to achieve sales targets in the relevant countries as well as agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed;
  • identifying projects and campaigns needed to be launched in every specific market, drawing a detailed schedule on how to achieve each stage as well as hiring, training and leading the team;
  • ensuring that all promotional content is adapted to reflect national differences and is appropriate for the specific market;
  • conceiving and agreeing projects and campaigns, ensuring each stage of the project progresses within the agreed timeframes and on budget;
  • administering the monthly accounting and creating yearly budget report;
  • managing projects from inception through planning, team management, activation, analysis and optimisation;
  • reviewing and revising projects and campaigns in light of sales figures, targets achieved and ROI;
  • collaborating and briefing the internal team and external partners;
  • working with key stakeholders to implement activity;
  • ensuring each campaign has clear metrics as agreed with the Head of Campaigns, Agent and Product Marketing and ensuring that campaigns are achieving appropriate MROI in line with corporate goals;
  • carrying out post projects analysis to report KPIs and distributing learning for future campaigns; and
  • delivering activity presentations and regular results presentations across the business.

Qualifications, skills and experience required

Candidates must:

  • be degree educated or equivalent, in marketing, digital media or a related field;
  • speak Russian to a native level;
  • be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • have journalistic, PR or marketing experience in Russia as well as connections with top media influencers in the region;
  • have an extensive knowledge of online marketing channels with expertise in local tools (Yandex, VKontakte) being crucial;
  • have proven success in managing high growth projects and strategies in Russia, CIS countries and Eastern Europe;
  • have experience of managing people, building and training a team;
  • have excellent project management skills with experience of starting projects from scratch and good stakeholder management skills;
  • have experience with launching high scale digital projects and campaigns with proven results;
  • have a passion and experience of innovative campaigns;
  • be results driven with a focus on revenue growth;
  • be data driven with strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel; and
  • be highly energetic and self-motivated, self-aware, innovative and a team worker.

Candidate will also preferably have:

  • knowledge of one of the CIS or Eastern European languages; and
  • experience in promoting educational services/education abroad.
