Our client is looking for a very talented, experienced New Car Sales Manager with an enviable and proven track record of sales and performance within the motor industry. The ideal candidate will have Ford experience and will be committed to achieving excellence. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency.

You must have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives. You will be expected to drive the business forward and maximise customer satisfaction whilst motivating, coaching and managing the New Car Sales Team. You will be able to demonstrate that you share the company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Our client is looking for individuals who possess the following competencies:

A full valid UK driving licence (6 points or less)

The key responsibilities of this role are as follows:

Customer Satisfaction (CVP): To build trust, communicate well and exceed customer satisfaction expectations. To provide a service-based experience to customers and make them feel the value of placing their custom with us.

Maximising Opportunities: To maximise the opportunity for the Sales Advisors to do business by ensuring they prospect, follow-up and ensure the team adheres to Sales Process always.

Maximising Departmental Profit: To maximise departmental profit and achieve the business plan through the sale of vehicles, add-ons and finance whilst controlling departmental direct costs.

Data Quality and FCA Compliance: To ensure all the Sales Advisors and Business Manager accurately and vigorously collect all customer and vehicle data to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (email, mobiles). Ensure adherence to the Company's FCA obligations always.

Stock Management: To ensure ideal levels of stock (based on value and mix, measured through the Sales & Stock report) are prepared, photographed, priced and displayed correctly.

Managing the Sales Team: To inspire and lead the team. To continuously work to induct, motivate and develop your team to achieve their objectives and minimise colleague turnover.

Colleague Performance Management: Continuously monitor performance and provide coaching, support and training. Complete monthly 121s and annual appraisals (by year end).

Presentation Standards: To maintain the highest possible standards of presentation in relation to display and the department.

Policies and Processes: To be a champion of Group policy and processes and ensure they are explained, understood and implemented by your department.

£40-45k OTE budget performance, the potential for earnings for overachievement is uncapped

Working a rota between 8.45am to 7pm including weekends. Day off in week, hour lunch.
