Alliance Door Engineering is an independent company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of industrial doors and roller shutters. The team of technically gifted, highly experienced and friendly professionals have gained an enviable reputation for excellent customer service and high quality products. Established in 2001, the business has achieved a track record of consistent growth and is now embarking on an ambitious expansion plan.
Reporting to the Service, Repair and Installation Manager, as an Engineer / Fitters Mate you’ll be working as part of a friendly and dedicated team of experienced Engineers, undertaking servicing, repairs and installations of a variety of industrial doors and roller shutters at client sites across the UK.
To be considered for this Engineer / Fitters Mate role you MUST have the following experience, qualifications, skills, and attributes:
- Proven experience as an Engineer within the industrial door industry
- Electrical fault finding skills
- Experience of working a call-out rota system
- PASMA / IPAF certified
- A valid and up to date CSCS card
- Superb customer service skills with a polite, professional and helpful manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisation and prioritisation skills
- Full UK driving licence
- GCSE C and above in Maths, English and Science
An NVQ in Electrical Installation would be advantageous, although not essential as training may be undertaken at a local college one / two nights a week.
In return:
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, level dependent on experience and qualifications
Additional Benefits: Company van, mobile phone, and contributory pension scheme.
Hours of Work: 8:00am – 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business and client needs. Call-out rota system of 1 week in 4.
Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Leigh (Wigan, Greater Manchester). Travel will be required to client sites across the UK.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview week commencing 30th January 2017, with a second round of interviews to be held the following week.
