Marketing Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Marketing Assistant to join an exciting Startup who specialise in providing automotive services. Providing excellent customer service is at the forefront of everything they do. Based in its central London office (WC1X), situated in Chancery Lane the successful applicant will join the innovative company to earn a competitive salary, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will report to the marketing leader, and will possess or be willing to learn a growth hacking mindset i.e be flexible enough to work across the business within an agile marketing methodology, as and when necessary to achieve its objectives.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner in order to faithfully represent the brand. Ideally you will already have experience working within a small team and in and consumer focused business environment.

The Marketing Assistant’s main duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Be responsible for managing and updating all social media channels
• Be responsible for managing company website
• Monitor and track social media presence across all platforms
• Brainstorm, research, implement and test marketing initiatives
• Set up and execute diverse online marketing strategies
• Identify and manage other relevant offline marketing tactics
• Help implement (content) marketing campaigns connected to specific target groups to increase brand and product awareness
• Monitor and improve service promotions from campaigns
• Monitor the outcome of initiatives with regard to Marketing KPIs
• Work with marketing leader to identify, research, pitch and manage strategic partnerships

To be considered for the Marketing Assistant role, you will have worked with various online and offline channels for at least 2 years, and will have a passion to pursue a career in marketing and possess the following key skills and experience:

• Proven experience in online marketing / social media marketing
• Sharp, analytical mind and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Google analytics experience
• CRM/eCRM experience
• Adobe Photoshop
• Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic and driven
• Capable of working as part of a team as well as individually
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Self motivated
• Able to work to strict deadlines
