Software Solutions Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Solutions Engineer to join CNL Software based in Woking, Surrey.

Providing application implementation services of our software platform, IPSecurityCenter™, this is a customer facing role, requiring a strong understanding of the edge devices to which we integrate, a track record of successful project delivery, the ability to operate to tight deadlines, effective engagement with customers and experience of deploying an enterprise based software solution.

As a Software Solutions Engineer your duties and responsibilities will be to:

• Produce detailed design documentation
• Knowledge of CCTV / Access Control / Intruder Alarm etc.
• Conduct product demonstrations
• Deliver effective training to customers
• Strong relationship skills
• Deliver quality deployments in line with specifications at customer sites
• Maintain detailed project documentation
• Participate in customer testing
• Provide technical support

An ideal Software Solutions Engineer will have the following skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification / experience
• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
• Document Management, Fleet Management, electronic point of sale (EPOS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP)
• Configuring and troubleshooting PCs, servers, networks etc.
• Database architectures, methodologies and SQL
• VM environments and Microsoft Clustering
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in the Security industry
• Fluent in English
