This organisation aims to encourage continuous improvement in the management of quality in the Disability Student Allowance sector.
They work closely with all stakeholders including Study Needs Assessment Centres, Assistive Technology Service Providers, Non Medical Help Providers and various Funding Bodies.
The Central Administration Unit, based in Glasgow, is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their small team to carry out the undernoted role. You would also be expected to participate in many of the CAU'S other activities.
The primary function of the role is to ensure providers of support services to funded students comply with the standards outlined in each of the quality assurance frameworks (QAF). This is achieved through multi element programmes including, self-assessment, online data submission and on site verification. For this role the main function will be to conduct on site verification audits of Non-medical Help providers.
Whilst not essential, experience of this or a similar role would be beneficial. There is a requirement for extensive travel throughout England and Wales and experience of travel and travel planning would be of benefit. A valid driving licence would also be beneficial.
All applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and be competent in the use of IT equipment.
The post is initially offered for a 24 month fixed term contract with the option to extend. The working pattern would normally follow 3/4 days offsite carrying out compliance visits and 1/2 days in the office.
The current salary £16k - £20k per annum with 25 days annual leave.
The closing date is Friday 6 January 2017 with interviews expected to take place on Tuesday 10 January or Wednesday 11 January.
