This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing multi-national automatic door business based in Stratford Upon Avon which offers excellent service and brilliant products to their clients. As a result of this growth, they are looking to recruit a Purchasing/Accounts Assistant to join the team.
This role is a wide, varied, exciting and hands on role within the accounts and stores department.
Key responsibilities are (not exhaustive list):
- Key Purchase Ledger duties are:
o Raising PO's
o Receiving goods in
o Reconciling delivery notes to invoices received
o Matching batching and coding supplier invoices
o Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing ones
o Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
o Supplier telephone enquires
o Providing staff with purchase information
- Key Store duties are:
o Stocking materials into stores
o Issuing parts out of stock to staff members
o Stock Reconciliation
o Maintaining Stock Levels
- Key Accounts duties are:
o To cover sales ledger (holiday cover)
o Assist the sales ledger with general duties
- Raising sales Invoices
- Credit Control
- Maintaining Sales Ledger
- Processing BACS Payments and preparing cheques
- Petty Cash
- Assist Finance Manager with general duties to include
o Month end routines
o Process business expense returns
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for the
Purchasing/Accounts Assistant are:
- Experience with Sage
- Excellent attention to detail
- An ability to solve problems using a logical approach
- Honesty and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
- Self-Discipline
- A team player within a busy accounts environment, proactive, flexible and adaptable
- Good team working skills
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines
- An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages for example Word, Excel Outlook
- Studying towards AAT Qualification or equivalent
