Our company client is a reputable investment management organisation who are currently seeking to appoint a driven and tenacious Global Advertising Manager to join their vibrant team based in London City. The business operate on a global scale and are a lead of the FS industry. The successful applicant will be in charge of the strategic direction of the advertising for the business, handling external agencies to create and implement advertising on a global scale. This is an exciting opportunity for career progression.

Essential duties will include as follows:

* Responsible for developing creative briefs, directing advertising agencies to ensure creative is in line with Go to Market (GTM) plans, strategic goals and brand guidelines, negotiate feedback from across regions and across business units to ensure varied input is reconciled against strategic intent.
* Inspect layouts and advertising copy for adherence to specifications and works with Legal to ensure compliant creative.
* Work with transcreation agencies to translate ads into local languages. Test ads pre-campaign to gather feedback from target market as required. Works with digital team to map journey and ensure digital integration. Once campaigns have run, analyze effectiveness of campaign and media plan and adjust campaign creative and media to meet objectives. Track program budgets, expenses, and campaign response rates to evaluate each campaign based on program objectives and industry norms.
* Regional Marketing Managers (RMM) consult with the Global Advertising Manager to define the role display advertising will play in the GTM plans.
* The Global Advertising Manager develops and manages advertising and media plans to align with marketing strategy. Directs the media-planning agency to create and execute the media schedule and provides counsel on how best to allocate display advertising budget to achieve desired goals. Ensures that all advertising meets brand standards and provides information to the agencies on how the brand is activated in each of the markets.
* Acts as advertising and media center of excellence within by keeping up to date with relevant new media formats, competitor advertising initiatives, and implements design change where appropriate.

Main abilities and experience required:

* Degree level or relevant international equivalent and 10 years of experience
* Relevant financial services experience
* Experience in advertising across Europe
* Strong background in print and digital advertising, with a heavy focus on digital
* Strong background in media buying, including knowledge of programmatic buying
