An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and adaptable individual to join the grounds maintenance team at Surrey University. The team have responsibility for all the horticultural, sports maintenance and up keep of the landscaping around the University estate including any related contract works. The successful candidate will join an award-winning team who are responsible for the maintenance of the University's beautiful campus.

In this role you will be required to work as part of a team that carry out a wide range of sports maintenance, horticultural tasks and associated works. The candidate will be expected to have a wide range of experience in operating sports and landscape equipment and be responsible for the preparation of sports surfaces to a high standard. This position will require that you work weekends on a rota basis and would be on call and contactable.
Experience in ornamental horticultural, a sports grounds maintenance environment, and relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications are required. A full valid UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
