Position: Expense Accountant
Location: Cardiff

Our company client is a leading multinational FTSE listed insurance organisation who are now seeking to recruit a highly skilled Expense Accountant to join their central finance team office- based in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward thinking organization who truly invests in their people and future.
Essential job responsibilities:
* Manage the detailed monthly accounting processes
* Performing the Financial Close Process for the quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting
* Managing the quarterly and annual reporting process by ensuring deadlines are met
* Ensure that expense related balances are settled effectively and fully reconciled
* This will include intercompany balances within the consolidation group as well as balances with Group Finance
* In conjunction with other areas of Finance, including the Business Partnering team, manage detailed annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes for centrally managed expenses
* Ad hoc projects and requests from Directors, Financial Control and Treasury
Qualifications, knowledge and skill set required:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous financial services experience
