Our Client is a leading national provider of retirement housing and care services for older people, mainly those aged 65 and above. They are a not-for-profit organisation and operate in over 150 local authority areas – managing around 19,000 Retirement and Extra Care apartments and providing over 80,000 hours of care each week to more than 31,000 customers. They deliver affordable, contemporary, person-centred care and housing that meets individual needs, improves wellbeing and promotes independent living.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Extra Care Manager to join them. This is a mobile-based position covering the North West region, where you will work as part of a small Extra Care management team in a defined area, ensuring their properties and services meet the demands of residents and commissioning authorities.

As an Extra Care Manager, you will provide ongoing support to the business, ensuring growth targets are met whilst managing the operations of their Extra Care schemes across the North West.

They are looking for someone who has management experience of leading a complex multi-site service. With a Business, Housing or Social Care management qualification and strong IT skills, you will have experience of managing and developing Housing and/or Care services and be adaptable to the needs of the business. Experience of Extra Care is desirable but not essential; what is important is having commitment to the delivery of high quality customer-focused services, whilst also having strong people management skills and a pragmatic approach.

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and level of flexibility is essential.
