Joining them as PR Manager, you will drive activities and create opportunities to raise their company profile, primarily focusing on delivering the Group’s PR and Public Affairs strategy and establishing them as a thought leader on skills issues and quality assurance matters for the sector.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll ensure that their members, staff and wider stakeholders are kept informed on key news, insights and developments through their sector round-up, newsflash communications and press releases and develop and manage their awards strategy, identifying and entering high calibre awards categories that showcase their expertise.

Commercially driven with a genuine passion for external and internal communications, you will have exceptional copywriting skills and be able to adapt your style of writing to suit different audiences. Self-motivated and with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, you will have excellent interpersonal and advisory skills and influence confidently and successfully with people at all levels.

Those who have Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or Public Relations (CIPR) status are highly desirable however this is by no means essential. All that they ask is that you are of graduate calibre or are working at graduate level and have experience of developing a company voice and providing insight-driven company responses to policy and current affair matters. You will have proven experience of managing PR campaigns across the full range of marketing channels including hands-on copywriting and editorial content management and be comfortable with developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans that have directly resulted in commercial growth.
