Composite Kit Cutter

This company is a leading carbon fibre engineering company supplying components worldwide directly into; Formula One, Motorsport, Aerospace and Automotive customers.

Due to recently opening a new site in Wellingborough they are looking for a Composite Kit Cutter to join the team.

Job Role:
- Cut carbon fibre rolls of material into relevant kits for laminating, using automated cutting machine (Zund) and nesting software (Auto-nest)
- Bagging and labelling kits with part numbers and batch number
- Monitor carbon fibre stock levels
- Control consumable stock for department
- Advise / supply correct material to Laminators
- Complete material picking lists and record batch numbers electronically
- Maintain clean working environment / equipment
- Plan efficient cutting of materials
- Manual handling of bulky rolls of material

Desirable Skills:
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess a 'can-do' attitude, putting the same level of commitment and care into the routine aspects of the role as the more challenging tasks
- Positive, proactive and efficient with excellent communication skills
- Must be very organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Strong IT competence
