THE ROLE - what is it?
We are seeking ambitious Digital Media Sales Executives who can demonstrate experience in driving new business in a defined territory, offering a consultative sales approach.
You will be developing new business opportunities by proactively prospecting new clients and building a strong partnership with existing clients. Pitching to key decision makers, you must be prepared to build a strong client base to maximise revenue and increase client numbers.
You will be creating bespoke solutions for clients across our online job boards including Fish4Jobs, and social network including Facebook and Twitter as well as our print titles such as Cambridge News, Plymouth Herald, and Stoke Sentinel. You will be managing the campaigns and then going back with the results, making sure that the solution has been a success.
You will have to stand out from the crowd in this competitive market, and manage a pipeline of prospects so you have a continuous stream of new clients whilst renewing existing contracts.
What we require - You
Will spend 80% of your time generating new business clients, from self-generating leads, cold calling, qualifying needs with a consultative approach and matching solutions to best suit the client - you will then manage these accounts along with some existing clients.
Will become an expert within a specific location, look at market trends as well as understand your competitors within the recruitment industry.
Will be a thinking performer - someone who can use their initiative & think about solutions that really meet the customer needs.
Will be a strong communicator and be able to log effective business conversations within our CRM system in order to continuously build your pipeline and keep in touch with clients as agreed.
You will need to be self-motivated and have enthusiasm to achieve results in order to hit your targets and minimum standards of performance.
