A global leading manufacturing business based in Mansfield is seeking a hard working Accounts Assistant to join their growing team for a temporary contract. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of both the receivable and collections ledgers. Reporting to the Finance Manager your main responsibilities will include: Posting a high volume of receivables receipts (bacs, cheques) Processing of new accounts, assessing application forms, taking credit reports reviewing informationRunning and preparation of bank statements on a rota basisEnsure month end deadlines are metScanning and Indexing of AR/AP documents into the Document Library systemLogging of manual invoices and maintenance of logging spreadsheetReconciliation of Supplier StatementsPreparation of AP documents for external scanningAchievement of pre- agreed targetsMaintain filing system The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and competencies: Previous administration, payables and receivables experienceExperience of creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheetsIdentifying customer/vendor relationshipsAbility to work with initiative and to deadlines In return our client can offer pension, bonus, private medical, employee share purchase plan and 25 days holidays as well as bank holidays. This is a temporary contract, working a 35.5 hour week 9:00am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am-4:00pm Friday, potentially lasting until June 2017.
