D & T Teacher 0.6 contract temp - Perm

Prospero are currently recruiting for vocational tutors, you will need to have previous experience and keen to help individuals to develop their skills. The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified, experienced Teacher with a minimum of Certificate in Education Programme, PTTL's or an award in education and/or training or equivalent and previous experience in a teaching.You will be delivering a range of fully accredited qualifications and will be competent within the subject sector areas of gardening, construction, trade and Engineering Operations. You will also deliver a range of non-accredited provision which will include invigilation of tests, examinations and a portfolio of classroom based learning.The successful candidate will tutor the following courses:*Practical Horticultural Skills to levels 1 & 2 and working toward level 3 as course builds up*Construction/Trade Skills (woodwork) to levels 1 & 2 working toward level 3 as course builds up*Performing Engineering Operations to levels 1 & 2 working toward level 3 as course builds up The position based in Hereford is permanent, applications are desired as soon as possible and all candidates will need to undergo pre-employment checks that include referencing, DBS and eligibility to work in the UK.
