Head of Commercial - New Product Development - FMCG - GBP60KA manufacturer of cosmetics and beauty products based in Suffolk are looking for an experienced Head of Commercial in regards to new product development/NPD.The ideal Head of Commercial will have hands on experience of new product development within cosmetics/FMCG goods.You must also have great project management and people management experience and the ability to grow and nurture customer relationships and customer expectations.This is a growing company and opportunities that presents from being a family company growing rapidly, the continuous expansion and investment back into the company, the huge amount of new business coming in and working with great brands, either already big successful brands, or working with brands an sharing in their successes as they grow.This is an office based position and the suitable candidate must live within a commutable distance of Suffolk, Halesworth, Blyford or Cookley - relocating candidates are also most welcome.The Role:The Head of Commercial will be responsible for ensuring new products are managed from concept to launch - cradle to grave.You will manage and develop new product ideas for the company within cosmetics/beauty and FMCG productsWill contribute to company strategy and ways of growth and new idea.Manage the NPD directly through in house account managers.People management is essentialYou will be developing relationships with customers - not via new business development but through strong relationships to help assist the client/customer needs.Ensure that commercial needs are balancedTake over already existing projects from the head of business development and allocating them to appropriate account managersThe Package:Up to GBP60,000 depending on experience25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday daysPension schemeFull BUPA cover for the individualFlexitime scheme up to an additional 6 days back in lieuFree parking on siteThe Candidate:Must have proven experience of new product development within FMCG marketsWill have good experience of project management - cradle to graveWill be a leader and influencerPeople management skills are essentialMust be commercially aware and able to grow customer relationshipsMust live within the Suffolk area or be prepared to relocate to the Suffolk locationThis role is reachable from Suffolk, Halesworth, Blyford or Cookley - relocating candidates are also most welcome.
