My Client a leading Chartered Practice in Banbury are currently looking for a Tax Manager to service the tax needs of existing clients as well as creating new business opportunities through networking and business development. This opportunity would see you leading a thriving Tax and Wealth Management department controlling the WIP and ensuring everything runs smoothly Responsibilities: To provide Corporate and Personal clients a wide variety of tax specific areas. Provide support and assistance in the management of tax compliance activities.Work with Partners and autonomously to create and deliver innovative solutions for clients including proactive tax planning, delivering a unique benefit to existing and potential clients,Delegating more routine work to othersWorking independently and assisting the Partners in taking responsibility for the proactive promotion of the firm inActively promoting the growth of the firm in key geographical regions, requiring regular (weekly) travel to Kettering and other sites where requiredManage the Tax & Wealth Planning Department to meet departmental objectives through planning. This includes completing staff appraisals, monitoring and effective delegation, utilising the skills and knowledge within the existing team and sourcing additional knowledge.
